Parent and kids: who logs in with what?
  1. The PARENT has one login (your email and password). Use it only for the parent page, codes and billing.
  2. EACH CHILD has their own login: their own email (a school email works) and a password you pick for them.
  3. Never share your parent login with your kids, and don't give two kids the same email.
  4. Kids sign in at brainriseprep.com/login with THEIR email and password and go straight to practice.
How do I set up my family?
  1. Go to brainriseprep.com/signup and pick "I am the parent or guardian."
  2. Pick your state and create your account. On the next screen, check the boxes, type your full name and tap "Sign and continue."
  3. Unlock practice: start the 7-day free trial (card required) from Pricing, or enter your beta code at brainriseprep.com/redeem.
  4. On your parent page, fill in "Add your student" for each child, then sign the short consent form.
How do I add a second child?
  1. Sign in with YOUR parent email and open your parent page.
  2. Use the "Add your student" form again (tap "Add another student" if it is closed).
  3. Use the second child's OWN email and a new password, then sign the consent form.
  4. A beta code covers 2 students. On a paid plan, each extra student is 25% off.
I forgot my password
  1. Go to brainriseprep.com/forgot-password and type the email you log in with.
  2. Open the email "Reset your Brainrise password" (check spam too) and tap the link. It works on any phone or computer.
  3. Choose a new password, then log in. The link works once and expires in 1 hour; you can always ask for a new one.
  4. Kids can do this with their own email too.
I forgot which email I used
  1. Your username is always the email you signed up with.
  2. Parents: try the email where you got Brainrise messages.
  3. Kids: your parent can see your login email on their parent page.

Where do I enter a beta code?
  1. Only the PARENT enters the code, signed in to the parent account.
  2. Go to brainriseprep.com/redeem, type the code and tap "Unlock free access."
  3. Kids never need a code. Once the parent's account is unlocked, the kids just sign in and practice.
  4. Each code works once.
My child sees "Waiting on parent consent"
  1. The parent has to approve the account. On that screen your child can tap "Email the link to my parent again."
  2. Parent: open that email and follow the link, signed in with YOUR email address.
  3. Your child should keep using the same account. A new account starts over.
My child sees the pricing page instead of practice
  1. That means the family has no active plan yet. Kids can't buy anything.
  2. Parent: sign in and either start the free trial (Pricing) or enter your beta code at brainriseprep.com/redeem.
  3. Your child is unlocked right away. Have them sign in again.
How do I put the app on a phone?
  1. iPhone: open brainriseprep.com in Safari, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen," then "Add."
  2. Android: open brainriseprep.com in Chrome, tap the 3-dot menu, then "Install app," then "Install."
  3. Open the new Brainrise icon and sign in.
How do we switch between SAT and ACT?
  1. If your plan includes both, your child sees an SAT / ACT switch at the top of their dashboard.
  2. Tap the exam they want. Practice switches right away and stays that way on every device.
