Accessibility Statement and Commitment
# Accessibility Statement and Commitment
**Product:** Brainrise (the "Service")
**Operator:** Southwest CP Investment LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our")
**Version:** 1.1
**Effective Date:** August 16, 2026
**Last Updated:** 2026-08-24
This Accessibility Statement describes Company's commitment to digital accessibility for the Brainrise Service and how to request assistance or report a barrier. It uses the same defined terms as the Brainrise Terms of Service ("Terms").
---
## 1. Our Commitment
Company is committed to making the Service accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities, and to providing an equivalent, usable experience for all Users and Parents. We view accessibility as an ongoing effort and work to improve the Service over time.
## 2. Standard We Aim For
2.1 We aim to conform substantially to the **Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA**, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as our target technical standard, and to follow generally accepted accessibility best practices.
2.2 **Status of this commitment.** This Statement describes our accessibility target and the measures we take. It is not a warranty that every part of the Service conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA at all times. **Nothing in this Statement limits, waives, or disclaims any right you have under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, or any other federal, state, or local disability law, and nothing here is intended to reduce any obligation Company has under those laws.** This Statement is part of the agreement described in Terms Section 19.1. Incorporation by that Section does not convert the aspirational WCAG 2.1 AA target in Section 2.1 into a warranty or a guarantee of conformance; what it makes contractually binding are the specific, concrete commitments in Sections 5 and 6 below — the acknowledgment and remediation timeframes and the reasonable-accommodation process — which Company undertakes and intends to honor.
## 3. Measures We Take
We work to support accessibility through measures such as: semantic and structured markup; keyboard navigability; sufficient color contrast; descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images; labeled forms and controls; and compatibility testing with common assistive technologies (such as screen readers) where feasible. Because the Service evolves and includes third-party and AI-generated content, we cannot guarantee that every element conforms at every moment; where we identify a barrier, Section 5 describes how we handle it.
## 4. Third-Party and AI Content
Portions of the Service rely on third-party components and on AI-generated output. Company does not control, and cannot warrant the accessibility of, third-party services, and AI outputs are generated dynamically. We work to select accessible components but are not responsible for the accessibility of third-party services (see Terms Section 11).
## 5. Requesting Assistance and Reporting Barriers
5.1 **We want to help.** If you have difficulty accessing any part of the Service, or need Content provided in an alternative accessible format, please contact us at **southwest@southwestcpinvestment.com** with a description of the difficulty, the page or feature involved, and the assistive technology (if any) you use. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or functionality you need through an alternative accessible method.
5.2 **Response.** We treat accessibility reports as a priority. **We will acknowledge your report within three (3) business days and provide a remediation plan, or an effective alternative means of access, within thirty (30) days** of acknowledging a substantiated barrier. Where a fix will take longer than thirty days, we will tell you why and give you an expected date.
## 6. Reasonable Accommodation Process
6.1 Where a User with a disability needs an accommodation to use the Service, we will engage in a good-faith, interactive process to identify a reasonable accommodation or an effective alternative means of access, **at no additional charge.** Contact **southwest@southwestcpinvestment.com** to begin.
6.2 **Testing accommodations.** Many Students use approved testing accommodations such as extended time, additional breaks, or assistive technology. **If a Student needs an accommodation that the Service does not currently support, contact southwest@southwestcpinvestment.com and we will work with you to provide an effective alternative at no additional charge.** Company does not grant or administer accommodations for any official test; those are granted by the testing organization.
## 7. Feedback and Continuous Improvement
Accessibility feedback is welcome and helps us improve. Providing feedback is subject to the feedback license in the Terms and the IP and DMCA Policy. We periodically review and update the Service and this Statement.
